Just Write Blog Carnival – Links Of Love

by Walter on March 9, 2009

A little birdie told me you like links to great writing. This scared me because, really, birds can’t talk. The best they can do is mimic. I chalked it up to a very vivid hallucination, a hallucination that specifically mentioned Just Write Blog Carnival at Incurable Disease of Writing. Here are five great posts from the blog carnival, as decided upon by me and Francis, the Imaginary Macaw.

Treasure Hunting For Sources of Creativity (from MarcusASmith.com) – This is a solid look at ways to improve your creativity. The section on competition rang especially true for me.

Gobble to Goop from my son (five-years-old) – Big, Big, Big Brown Bear and the Moose (from Indoor Garden Musings) – It has a bear that is kind to other animals. This kind of thinking and writing is exceptional for a five-year old.

Writing Prompt #6: Farmhouse Massacrre (from Diary Of A Mad Editor) – I love writing exercises, and this one is well-crafted.

How A Writer Is Like Dr. Dolittle (from Amy Sue Nathan) – This, this explains so much about me and the weird looks I get from people. This is a perfect description of a writer.

5 Ways To Boost Credibility For Freelance Writers and Editors (from the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors) – It’s not surprising that independent writers’ main concern is credibility. This brief about a recent survey takes you to a page with five ways to boost that credibility. All of them make sense, but they all need to be read and remembered.
