Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Clown Car! We got far more submissions than I’d hoped for, so you have plenty of good stuff to read. Now hop to it and start laughing!
Brett Sanders presents Broadway Here I Come! Or maybe not. – We’ve all been in Brett’s situation. Okay, that’s a complete lie. If it wasn’t so hilarious, it’d be frightening. For his contributions to dance and public exposure, Brett wins this edition of The Clown Car! Congratulations!
Madeleine Begun Kane presents It Is Hereby Resolved (New Year’s Resolution Humor) – I rather liked this, not because Angie and I fall into the resolution trap (we’re far too lazy to make resolutions), but because I like seeing other people fail.
Howling Mad Jay presents Holiday movie time – This man says Jimmy Stewart’s best parts in It’s A Wonderful Life are also his darkest. I agree, and this is why he makes the list. He also says Die Hard is a holiday movie, something I cannot disagree with.
Chris presents A Sexy Moment in Karate History – Two words: “boob lasers”. A sexy moment, indeed.
Rich Weber presents Socks Are Really Space Aliens – The unintended pun “with the sole purpose of taking over earth” did it for me. Rich makes good arguments for socks being interplanetary warmongers.
Grandpa Oddball presents CAT ATTACKS – The truth, told like it should be: cats are evil, fould creatures who will sometimes attack you for no reason.
Michael Kenny gives us Insane In The Mem– – a clever little tale about a man and his zombie friend.
Cheryl Ragsdale brings Rock The Ink: Miss Tattoo Competition 2009 to the table. If you have as big a weakness for tattooed women as I do, you’re gonna love this.
And that’s it for the first edition of The Clown Car! Thank you for reading, and please be sure to visit all of our contributors’ blogs! Feel free to submit using BlogCarnival’s carnival submission form.
